There was a small surprise in Mechelen where seventh ranked DutchDen Bosch (11-6) beat 5th ranked Belgian Kangoeroes (11-6) 78-74 on Saturday. Den Bosch made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. American forward JaeLyn Withers (206-2000, college: UNC) stepped up and scored 24 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners and Lithuanian Arunas Mikalauskas (203-1997) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. American-Nigerian guard Tobi Ewuosho (196-1997, college: Alabama St.) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds and Leander Dedroog (199-1999) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Defending Dutch champion moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Mechelen and ZZ Leiden.
